Each of these three companies, bringing years of abrasive manufacturing and distribution experience ranging from 15 to 55 years, merged in 2004 to become Global Abrasive Products, Inc. Our three manufacturing facilities, totaling more than 90,000 square feet, have a work force of over fifty experienced employees providing quality abrasive products to industry. GAP’s three converting plants produce Sanding Belts to 64” wide, Non-Woven Surface Conditioning Belts, Adhesive Backed (PSA) and Hook & Loop Discs, Rolls and Sheets. In addition, GAP produces a full line of abrasive specialties including Cross Pads, Square Pads, Flap Wheels, Flap Discs and many other finishing and polishing products. In addition to offering special coating and laminating services, we also manufacture our own line of Shur-Step Non-Skid Safety Tread.
